We are currently recruiting for various experienced child protection workers (Social Workers, Case Workers, Senior Practitioners etc) across the Northern Territory. The positions are to be based in various locations including, Darwin, Nhulunbuy, Katherine, Tennant Creek and Alice Springs. There is a level of flexibility dependent on preference. The positions would be on a permanent basis.

The duties of the role would include:

• Investigating child protection concerns
• Delivering case work and case management services to children and families
• Working on complex cases alongside other departments and organisation
• Providing support and information to families
• Assisting other members of staff
• Ensuring data is accurately and timely recorded in line with policies and procedures

To be eligible for these positions you will need a degree from an Australian tertiary institution which gives eligibility for membership with the Australian Community Workers Association, the Australian Association of Social Workers, or the Australian Psychological Society. This includes a degree or post graduate qualifications in Social Work or Psychology.

It is also essential that you are an Australian Citizen / Permanent Resident or a NZ Citizen.

On offer is an excellent salary ranging from $73-88,000 plus super and other benefits such as 6 weeks leave.
