We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to join Wadja Aboriginal Family Place at The Royal Children's Hospital.
RCH is committed to improving the quality of care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and families who attend the hospital. The service includes Case Managers and Paediatricians. We care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and families from metropolitan and rural Victoria, interstate and from remote communities.
This position is responsible for leading an interdisciplinary team working to ensure that the medical care and care planning for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and families is inclusive of the social and cultural factors.
The successful candidate will lead and co-ordinate the delivery of clinical services of Wadja Aboriginal Family Place and Wadja Health Clinic to enable
Access to RCH services for Aboriginal children at RCH and other health services, at the right time for the right service
Clinical services that provide timely, holistic and high quality care
Innovative service development that is responsive to the needs of RCH patients and the needs of the Aboriginal community
