Rocky Bay is experiencing a period of significant growth and change, and we are looking for a driven customer service professional to assist the organisation achieve its vision of optimising the quality of life for people living with disability in Western Australia.

The first point of contact for customers at Rocky Bay, the Customer Engagement team is responsible for facilitating a person-centred customer experience for current and potential customers. Teamwork and collaboration are essential as the role working closely with all areas of the business to enhance the customer experience. You will also work directly with customers to develop service contracts from a range of funding sources, including the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and private funding.

As a Customer Engagement Officer at Rocky Bay you will be working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You will responsible for maintaining relationships with our various stakeholders and ensuring they get the best possible experience when they come to Rocky Bay.

To be successful in this role, you will have:  

  • Experience in providing high quality customer services within a human services context
  • Strong and demonstrable communication skills including written and interpersonal.
  • Ability to plan, organise and manage one’s own workload.
  • Ability to adapt well to processes, be resilient to consistent changes, waiting on changes to be implemented, thinking on feet and be open with a set duty roster.
  • Demonstrable ability to work flexibly across autonomous and team settings.
  • Demonstrable ability to operate within organisational and legislative guidelines, procedures and policies.
  • Strong computer skills, with experience in MS Office applications and Client Data Management systems.
  • Experience in the provision of a range of services to people with disability is desirable but not essential
  • Experience working with NDIS individual planning, quoting and portal use is desirable but not essential
  • Certificate III in Disability or other qualifications relevant to the role is desirable but not essential
  • Current, valid WA driver’s license
  • NDIS Workers Screening & orientation module
