Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) is a secular, community-based, not-for-profit organisation with no religious affiliations who have been providing services to the Victorian community for over 70 years. About the role

RAV is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and provider of a higher education qualification. The role of Program Facilitator – Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) and Mediation will be required to train and assess aspects of the CHC81115 Graduate Diploma of FDR, and the Mediation Training Course and Skill Set, as directed.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Training and Development, your responsibilities include administrative, compliance, consultative and coordination tasks involved with this course. The role includes presentation of workshops, assessment of students and course administration in line with Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) and Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) Regulatory Requirements,

Located in Camberwell, the position is for three (3) days per week, on a fixed term contract until September 2024.

Qualifications, skills and experience

  • A higher education qualification in law, counselling, psychology, social work or education.
  • CHC81115 Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution or a prior equivalent qualification.
  • Accreditation as a FDR Practitioner with the Attorney-General’s Department.
  • National Mediation Accreditations System (NMAS) accreditation, or eligibility to apply for it.High level skills in written and verbal communication, negotiation, liaison and collaboration.
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment (this is required for the role but maybe achieved after recruitment).
