This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, experienced Client Services Officer to join Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) in this important role with staff who have been delivering effective client focused services and outcomes for over 70 years in Victoria.
RAV is a valued provider of specialist family and relationship services. Our vision is for positive, respectful, safe and fulfilling relationships for all Australians. Our objective is to relieve suffering, distress and helplessness and to provide high quality, accessible and effective services for people with complex relationship issues. Our services and programs, which are provided from 16 centres across Victoria, include counselling, family dispute resolution, relationship education, family violence services, mental health services, senior relationship services and professional training. As a community-based, not-for-profit organisation with no religious affiliations, our services are for all members of the community, regardless of religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, lifestyle choice, cultural background or economic circumstances.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Gippsland, your day-to-day work will be supervised by our Client Service Coordinator. You will provide an efficient, welcoming first point of contact for clients and people contacting RAV about services and programs, responding in a helpful manner via phone and in person. You will provide organisational and administrative support to management and staff, undertake basic assessment of client service needs and manage the coordination, booking, data entry and processing of client appointments.
This role is based at our Traralgon centre. The role is permanent, part-time (30 hours, four (4) days per week) with the expectation to work Tuesday evenings.
You will receive a competitive remuneration package $62,776kpa (pro-rata), superannuation and access to PBI tax-free salary packaging. RAV is an 'employer of choice' in the community sector who provides best practice professional development, training and supervision and work and life balance conditions and benefits.
RAV is committed to building and supporting an inclusive and diverse workforce and encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, those from cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds, LGBTIQA+ communities and people with disabilities. We are committed to the safety of our clients and staff and promote a child-safe work environment. We require all staff to have a satisfactory national police check and working with children check. RAV is a public benevolent institution.
