Who we are looking for

We are looking for a well-rounded person who wants to grow their payroll skills in this diverse role. Ideally, we want you to:

• have a good understanding of payroll processes and systems;
• have experience in interpretation of enterprise agreements and awards;
• understand the importance of paying people accurately and on time;
• be empathetic to the needs and pressures of our diverse and busy workforce;
• enjoy the challenge of problem solving;

• be focused on delivering a high quality and people-focused payroll service.

It would be a bonus if you:

• have experience using Technology One payroll system; and
• have worked in a variety of industries.

What you will be doing

We use a self-service timesheet system, so instead of spending most of your time entering data, you’ll use your skills to effectively manage a variety of tasks including:

• Supporting the accurate and timely end-to-end processing of payroll in our self-service environment.
• Providing appropriate and relevant payroll related advice to leaders and staff.
• Support the salary packaging and superannuation processes with the relevant providers.
• Ensure employees are provided with accurate and useful information to maximise their benefits.
• Work collaboratively with Finance and other People and Development team members to fulfill processes.
• Embrace opportunities to develop your knowledge and be involved in project work.
