Queensland Advocacy Inc. is an independent, community‐based systems and legal advocacy organisation for the most vulnerable people with disability in Queensland.

We are looking for a part time finance assistant (30 hours per fortnight) for 12 months, with a possibility for extension dependent on funding.

The bookkeeper’s role will be primarily to provide support to our Finance Manager.

Selection Criteria will include the following:

1. Commitment to social justice principles including the promotion and protection of the full and equal enjoyment of all human rights and fundamental freedoms by all persons with disabilities, and to promote respect for their inherent dignity
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (especially Excel and Word) and MYOB is essential
3. Strong organisational skills
4. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
5. Proficiency with general office administration

The role is paid under SCHADS Award, level to be determined based on experience (plus super and access to salary sacrifice).
