- Employment Type: Full-time, 38 hours per week
- Remuneration: $78,000 - $80,000 per annum (commensurate with experience), plus 11% superannuation contribution
About the Role:
As the General Manager of 107 Projects, you will play a pivotal role in steering the organisation towards its strategic objectives under the guidance of the Board of Directors. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, regulatory compliance, financial management, and stakeholder engagement across our three venues: 107 Redfern Street, 107 Green Square, and 107 South Eveleigh. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate the organisation's overall strategy, ensuring alignment with mission and goals.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards, including WHS and liquor licensing requirements.
- Develop and implement operational systems to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Oversee building and facilities maintenance to ensure functionality and safety.
- Serve as the liquor licensee, ensuring responsible alcohol service and compliance.
- Manage accessibility, utilities, and equipment maintenance and purchasing.
- Lead financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence among staff and stakeholders.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Venue Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in strategic leadership, project management, and budgeting.
- Strong understanding of operational systems development, data management, and problem-solving.
- Experience in the not-for-profit sector and/or the creative and performing arts sector is highly desirable.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate and Liquor Licensee experience is preferred.
