About the Opportunity

We are seeking an innovative and highly organised Lead - Contract Management to join the Contracts Relationships team, working alongside the broader Health Services Commissioning business unit. This lead role will provide specialist contract management support to the team through the development and maintenance of systems, business processes, performance management and contract management plans.

What would you be doing

Reporting to the Manager - Contractor Relationships, you will assist and support the Contractor Relationships Advisors by developing and maintaining a contract management framework, including systems, tools, templates, business processes and guidance. You will be our organisation’s technical expert in best practice contract management. You will also assist the Manager to monitor and report on the Team’s annual plan, prepare operational reports, undertake risk management, benchmarking and quality improvement activities.

Here's what you’ll look like

  • Relevant business, project, healthcare management or similar qualifications and/or extensive commercial experience in managing service contracts.
  • Experience in developing contract management systems, business processes and operational procedures
  • Demonstrated specialist knowledge and skills in project management and contract management, including drafting tender and contract specifications, key performance measures and financial reporting.
  • Be extremely organised and an effective communicator
  • Able to lead, mentor, motivate and collaborate with others to deliver best performance
  • Have the ability to travel if required (intrastate and interstate).
