Come and join our growing team in Lilydale, Victoria where we are recruiting for Two (2) ongoing Part-Time Support Professionals (approx. 50-60 hours per fortnight).

About you:

We are currently searching for our newest team members to join our team in Lilydale, Victoria.

You will:

  • Have passion to provide a high quality of support to our participants that encourages independence, individual abilities, community participation and quality of life.
  • Effectively implement individual support plans to maximise participant outcomes and attainment of goals.
  • Be knowledgeable on NDIS compliance, standards and processes of practice.
  • Be able to work in a supportive team environment but also have the ability to work as an individual, critically think and make informed decisions.

Let us tell you about the roles:

In this role you will provide participants with high quality support and care that addresses individual needs and enhances independence, abilities, community participation and quality of life in support of the participant's individual goals and aspirations.

The role of a Support Professional varies day-to-day, and will be a mix of working with participants to engage in social and recreational activities, participate in daily personal care and household activities, maintaining participant health and wellbeing, and following individual care plans to support the participants in enhancing their independence and achieving their individual goals.

What is essential?

  • Unrestricted drivers licence in the state in which you wish to work.
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
  • Current first aid and medication certificates; or a willingness to obtain.

What is desirable?

  • An appropriate qualification, which is recognised by Possability and is relevant to the work required to be performed.
  • Previous experience in a relevant industry, service or an equivalent level of expertise and experience to undertake the range of activities required.
