This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced health and safety professional to join our team in a role designed to influence change and build strong relationships.
Reporting directly to the National Manager – Health, Safety & Wellbeing, you will work collaboratively to help shape our WHS management system to support a proactive and contemporary focus on employee health and safety in the workplace.
The position can be based at either our Hobart or Launceston offices in Tasmania and will support our operations in Tasmania and Queensland. This position can be a hybrid role for the right candidate (3 days office/2 days home).
The successful candidate will be an amazing person, who in addition to their strong WHS experience and knowledge, will be a fantastic communicator with a strong ability to create and strengthen stakeholder relationships.
They will also have a passion for the data and reporting side of WHS and will be able to translate this information for Managers and our Board.
This position is perfect for a WHS professional who thrives in a dynamic environment - being in a position of responsibility with the ability to lead and influence change.
The Health and Safety Advisor will play an integral part in driving a culture of positive safety practices and behaviours, through their timely and effective engagement across the organisation.
As part of the wider WHS team, this position will provide advice, support, coaching and pro-active leadership in all aspects pertaining to the management of workplace health and safety. For further information please refer to the position description.
