We are looking for a content Coordinator to join our Marketing Communications team at the Nature Parks!

We are excited to offer:

  • $63k then $70k (after 3-months)
  • Flexible, hybrid working arrangements can be discussed.

To succeed in the role, there is a requirement to assist with last minute filming requests on site at Phillip Island Nature Parks attractions.

The role

As the Content Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing all our content, coordinating all filming of content (including escorting and supervising all Domestic and International film crews) as well as assisting the PR and Communications Lead with all our PR activities and media visits.

If you possess enthusiasm, and the skills and experience to:

  • Liaise with key Tourism Operations and Conservation staff to produce regular/weekly content for internal and external audiences.
  • Coordinate all content creation activities to ensure the content is planned and available to fit in with all planned activities with both our PR and Digital content calendars.
  • Support the development of innovative content initiatives through intrateam collaboration.
  • Provide regular activity reports and updates to inform content decision making.

Key Selection Criteria

  • 1-2 years of experience in digital content creation, management, and distribution, preferably in a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Advanced computer skills (including with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook programs is desirable)
  • Sound understanding of the requirements of confidentiality and the ability to maintain this in all aspects of working environment
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

To commence your journey with us, the following is required:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communication and/or related field (Environment, Science or Conservation) and/or relevant equivalent experience
  • Working with Children Check
  • Drivers’ License
