Expressions of interest are sought from suitable applicants for the position of Parliamentary Advisor to Member for the Northern Metropolitan Region (Upper House) in the Parliament of Victoria, Ms Fiona Patten.

This is a multifaceted role advising the MLC on communication and strategic media liaison related to community and parliamentary issues as they come to hand.  Knowledge of the workings of the Victorian Parliament, a media background or having held a previous similar position would be an advantage. An understanding of the current political climate in Victoria is also desirable.

As Leader of the Reason Party, Ms Patten is pursuing change in a broad range of areas. This is your chance to help shape a future Victoria with one of the state’s most progressive politicians.

Remuneration will be based on experience and there is an opportunity for flexible working hours.
