ABOUT THE ROLE

PWHC is seeking a skilled Senior Administration Officer with extensive experience in medical administration and operational leadership. The Senior Administration Officer will be responsible for providing general administrative support to the CEO in the day-to-day operations of the centre and providing expert medical administration knowledge including invoicing and Medicare reconciliation. The Senior Administration Officer provide support to both the Women’s Health and Wellbeing Services and Women’s Safety and Empowerment Services staff, tasks may include scheduling of appointments, meeting coordination, collation of agenda and minutes and coordination of group activities. All PWHC services are provided through a client-centred, trauma-informed, culturally appropriate model of care.

  • Part time (30 hours per week), with flexible work arrangements
  • Fixed-term until 30 June 2026 with expectation that the position will be extended subject to confirmation of ongoing funding.

It is a condition of employment in the role that the successful applicant is vaccinated for COVID-19 and will comply with PWHC’s COVID safe plans.

PWHC has recently relocated to new premises in Lethbridge Street and are in the process of establishing a beautifully renovated health and wellbeing hub for women in the Penrith area. The site has easy access to all-day parking and public transport.
