The Australian Children's Television Foundation (ACTF) is a not-for-profit organisation and the leading body for Australian children's media, making children's lives better through screen content that reflects our culture and our values. We help produce a diverse range of children’s screen content, with shows that focus on Aboriginal, migrant and transgender children’s experiences, among many others. We also produce educational resources based on our shows that are used by schools all over Australia from Hobart to Mornington Island to Roeburne in Western Australia.
The ACTF is the leading body for Australian children's media, making children's lives better through screen content that reflects our culture and our values.
We invest in and support children's media, distribute that content all over the world, and develop valuable resources aligned with our content for the education sector. We also advocate for high quality locally produced screen content for children and respond to a wide range of related industry and Government reviews.
An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly experienced educator to drive our education focus. This role is responsible for leading the small education unit, overseeing a broad range of education projects, developing and managing partnerships and working with a national focus to ensure schools Australia-wide can benefit from the ACTF’s education content, resources and virtual events. It calls for an energetic, creative and future focussed person to work with the passionate and committed team at the ACTF.
