Your new team

Orygen Specialist Programs (OSP), a program of Melbourne Health, provides specialist mental health services for young people aged 15 to 25 and their families/carers in Melbourne's northwest and western suburbs.

Your new role

Working alongside the Senior Quality Improvement Consultant, you will:

  • Innovate and improve in accordance with National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) standards
  • Coordinate development and implementation of quality and performance improvement activities
  • Assist Senior QIC with development and implementation of clinical and non-clinical reviews, risk management and accreditation related activities
  • Collect, collate, analyse and report on relevant data

About you

Although this is a non-clinical position, we are open to candidates with clinical experience and qualifications.

  • Relevant approved degree, such as Public Health, Health Information or Health Management (will also consider RPN, OT, SW or Psych quals and registrations)
  • Experience in health service governance systems including management of continuous improvement activities, and of NSQHS
  • Understanding application of quality principles and accreditation processes in mental health services
