Your new job

The Change Manager will manage the process for deploying and integrating new digital capabilities into the business in a way that is sensitive to and fully compatible with business operations to prepare Oryen for a large transformation project. Orygen’s Transformation is a long-term project that will expand and integrate the youth mental health care services we offer and will result in the implementation of new and innovative models of care.

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, you will:

  • Create the business readiness plan, taking into consideration IT deployment, data migration, capability deployment (training and engagement activities) and any business activities required to integrate new digital processes or jobs into the "business as usual" environment.
  • Initiate the business implementation plan, including all the activities that the business needs to do to prepare for new technical components and technologies and monitor and report progress on business readiness targets.
  • Determine the readiness levels of business users regarding upcoming changes; uncover readiness gaps and create and implement action plans to close the gaps prior to going live.
  • Assist the user community in the provision of transition support and change planning and liaises with the project team.

What you’ll need

You are passionate, energetic and determined to make a difference to health and wellbeing outcomes for young people. The following criteria must be met for consideration for this position:

  • A relevant degree in in business or information technology with subsequent relevant experience; and/or extensive experience and specialist knowledge in change implementation planning and management.
  • Experience in change implementation planning and management within a Change Manager role for a large-scale ICT program.
  • Ability to work in a complex program environment, skills in working across a diverse range of stakeholders that are both internal and external.
  • An ability to rapidly self-learn, adapt, test, integrate and apply new or modern technologies, methodologies, and workflows (software and hardware).
