Description

The Program Service Manager is an exciting new role at Open Minds, that will lead the establishment of the new Head to Health services across the Ipswich and Kingaroy communities. This pivotal leadership position will provide oversight to the coordination and delivery of all services and contribute to the vision, strategic planning, and policy development.

As Program Service Manager, your primary responsibility will be to lead and coordinate the establishment and implementation of new HTH sites, ensuring effective project management, strategic partnerships, program infrastructure, and culturally inclusive services to improve mental health outcomes in the Darling Downs and West Morton region.

Working in collaboration with the Clinical Services Manager, you will establish and lead a diverse team that provides comprehensive services to adults facing emotional distress, crises, mental health challenges, and addiction, as well as to their families, support individuals, and caregivers, employing an inclusive "no wrong door" approach.

About you:

Are you a committed, innovative, and inclusive leader with considerable knowledge and experience in mental health service delivery

We’re also looking for:

• Tertiary level qualifications in mental health, health service management and relevant field experience.
• Postgraduate qualifications are desirable.
• A background in project management, healthcare management, and/or mental health service delivery.
• Experience working in cross-cultural settings, particularly with First Nations People.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership skills contribute to successful collaborations.
• Demonstrated expertise in project management practices, including budget planning and financial management.
