The Alliance organises in all sectors of the hydrocarbons sector in and off the coast of Western Australia including production, maintenance, inspection, construction, drilling, catering, ROV, aviation and others. The Alliance currently has over 2,500 members.
The Alliance was formed to protect and advance the interests of workers in the offshore sector through targeted campaigns, strategic bargaining and worker empowerment, always putting the interests of its members first. The Alliance has grown significantly and now requires an additional Organiser to ensure that member recruitment and servicing continues at current levels.
The position will be based in Perth and the successful applicant will be responsible for building worker power in a team environment through the recruitment and servicing of members and the development of sustainable activist and delegate structures.
