What does the role involve

This new role in a growing team is responsible for bringing to life a range of end-to-end marketing campaigns and projects. Reporting to the Manager, Marketing and Communications, and working as part of a broader Membership and Engagement portfolio, this role will suit an experienced marketing operator who can develop and deliver a range of multi-channel product, event and brand campaigns and projects for the association.

What responsibilities form part of this role?

  • Develop, deliver and measure the impact of below the line campaigns for membership growth, including retention and acquisition, product marketing, and event marketing.
  • Develop and deliver marketing and communication strategies that effectively promote OTA.
  • Prepare written and digital materials to ensure successful engagement with the members and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of the OTA brand and implement a range of innovative strategies and programs, which engage and excite our members and ensure that the OTA brand is consistently represented, distinctive and recognisable.
  • Work with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver upon project requirements and organisational objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with internal team and look for opportunities to improve work practices and processes.

Specific skills/qualifications needed

The sort of person we seek for this role, will likely have:

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing or a related business discipline (advantageous, but not essential).
  • Experience working in a membership association or on membership-like campaigns.
  • Experience with end-to-end multi-channel marketing campaigns that achieve ROI.
  • Excellent creative thinking and strategy skills.
  • Extensive experience with segmentation, insights and developing with content for various social media channels (paid and organic), web content, and SEO/SEM.
  • Experience developing and implementing email marketing campaigns.
  • Familiarity or experience with CRM and CMS tools, Canva, Photoshop, Monday, SharePoint and Campaign Monitor (or equivalent products).
  • Experience working with and managing external suppliers to deliver impactful work is highly desirable.
  • Reliable and consistent work ethic, with a willingness to work around any tech or data barriers.
  • Experience developing and implementing content and projects aligned to organisational strategy, engaging a range of audiences across different channels.
  • Excellent content writing and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working with content for various social media channels (paid and organic), web content, and SEO/SEM.
  • The ability to work around any tech or data barriers.
  • A history of being results-driven, self-motivated and passionate about working in the healthcare space.
