The Minister for Training and Skills, the Hon. Gayle Tierney MP, is pleased to invite applications for part-time positions on TAFE Institute Boards.

TAFE Victoria is at the centre of our training system. More than ever, the skills we need to build our state are learned at TAFE. With a strong connection to industry and jobs, TAFE provides quality vocational education to Victorians. TAFE Institute Boards play a critical leadership and governance role in implementing and extending the greatest skills legacy of our state.

Individuals with skills, knowledge and experience in the following areas are encouraged to apply:

• Corporate governance and leadership
• Higher education and vocational training 
• Financial management
• Strategic thinking and innovation
• Community and industry engagement
• Strategic risk management and audit

Board directors are eligible for remuneration in accordance with the Appointment and Remuneration Guidelines published by the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
