OC Connections is one of Victoria’s most trusted disability support services, providing our participants, family and friends with information and support.

OC Connections Enterprises (OCCE) is the supported employment arm of OC Connections located in Southeast Melbourne and provides employment for over 100 supported employees. OCCE provides meaningful employment for people with disability, through several social enterprises, including our packing service, eco-friendly car wash, our administration & document management service.

The Role

As a member of the OC Connections Enterprises team, the Supervisor will be responsible for supporting their team to achieve their employment related goals and production requirements to the required quality standard and in a timely manner.

You will be responsible for:

• Achieve greed production requirements.
• Ensure the effective use of the labour in the area.
• Provide opportunities for employees to further develop their skills, including rotating employees to different tasks and/or more complex roles.
• Support, train and motivate employees in the development of competencies and skill acquisition.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Certificate IV or higher qualification in the field of Disability Studies.
• Ability to assess the ability, skill and competence of an employee with a disability to carry out specific work tasks or duties.
• Strong language and communication skills across different levels of understanding.
• Ability to work to schedules and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated experience in leading a team.
