Nalderun Education Aboriginal Corporation is a service that supports the Aboriginal Community, led by Aboriginal people. Nalderun means altogether in DjaDja Wurrung. We all walk together toward a future where local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are connected to Country and Culture and are strong, proud and empowered. We run many First Nations Youth focussed services that support the whole person and family.

Project Manager Responsibilities

  • Integrating Indigenous Worldview and Practices with Western processes of agriculture and business to develop a sustainable social enterprise business plan and budget for the project
  • Create a stable employment and training environment for local Aboriginal people through Nalderun cyclic mentoring and Cultural approach to caring for Country
  • Manage a team with a diverse array of skills and responsibilities, including performance management and staff relationships; consolidate and integrate existing relevant programs into the project
  • Maintain existing and build new networks and knowledge sharing with other native food producers, continuing to build upon existing partnerships with key organisations and stakeholders
  • Writing program funding proposals to support uninterrupted delivery of project; producing accurate and timely reporting of project status; Develop a monitoring and evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement; and to analyse project risks.
