As a part of the Collaborative Care Program, RDN are running a campaign to attract General Practitioners to the community of Forbes, NSW. The campaign is now open!

RDN will offer a sign on bonus of $15,000 upon your commencement.

Forbes is vibrant regional town situated in the Central West of NSW, a one-hour flight from Sydney and within proximity to the popular city of Orange, boasting excellent food and wine experiences and connections to innovative medical hubs for professionals to connect professionally and personally. Forbes is built around an idyllic Lake Forbes through the centre of the town, and on the Lachlan River, rich in agricultural and mining industries. 

Forbes’ Goldridge Estate offers a brand-new housing estate away from the hustle and bustle of city life, with two high schools offering years 7 to 12 and a co-educational day and boarding Catholic College. 

With over 50 sporting, special interest and service clubs, Forbes offers a wide variety of leisure activities to keep you and the whole family busy and healthy. From martial arts, play groups, and a BMX track to keep the adrenalin pumping. 

RDN are supporting Yoorana Gunya Family Health Centre Aboriginal Corporation, Forbes Medicine and Mind and Forbes Medical Centre with this campaign.

Forbes is classified as a MMM4 location meaning you will be eligible for FSP, ACRRM Independent pathway and RVTS training.  

With Forbes being on RDN’s 5-year OTD Scheme, eligible candidates can also have your 10 year moratorium reduced.
