NRCH provides a range of medical, allied health, dental and community services to clients from all backgrounds.

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Trial Coordinator to coordinate clinical trials at the Medically Supervised Injecting Room in North Richmond. You will support the collection of new data among participants in active cohort studies of people who use drugs. You must have both the attention to detail required for clinical trials but also the flexibility and compassion to work with marginalised populations.

Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain study protocol, registration, governance, and approvals
  • Establish and maintain data collection systems
  • Liaison with drug and/or medical device suppliers
  • Secure and manage relevant drug and/or other supplies
  • Prepare routine reports on trial progress as required
  • Management of data collection support staff as required

Key Selection Criteria

Essential qualifications, attributes and skills include, but are not limited to:

  • Masters minimum (PhD preferred) or equivalent qualification in an area related to clinical trials
  • Experienced in Clinical Trial Coordination
  • High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing small, large, and complex databases
  • Previous experience leading the development and writing of academic publications
  • Previous experience in public health research with populations who experience marginalisation
  • Knowledge of alcohol and other drug research and program delivery

Please note it is a requirement for all employees of North Richmond Community Health to demonstrate evidence of mandatory immunisations/vaccinations prior to commencement of employment, based on the Immunisation Category their position falls under. All offers of employment are subject to provision of a satisfactory National Criminal History Check, a valid Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (if applicable to the role).
