We take care of our diverse community by providing a wide range of health services at Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre and Craigieburn Centre.

The Consumer Advisory Committee

Northern Health is seeking community members to join our Community Advisory Committee (CAC). The CAC is an advisory committee of the Northern Health Board, providing advice and oversight of consumer and community engagement to improve patient care and outcomes.  

The committee is held every second month, using a mixture of face to face and virtual meetings. 

About You

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic people from the north of Melbourne to contribute to the ongoing improvement of our service.

The role of a consumer is to provide a perspective primarily based on your own knowledge, experience and skills developed through receiving health care yourself or supporting others receiving care.  

You will have one or more of the following attributes:

• A passion to ‘make a difference’ 
• A connection to Northern Health’s community 
• Lived experience with our service as a patient or carer
