The Role

Reporting to the Lead, Workforce Initiatives, this senior position is responsible for increasing the number of partner organisations and participants enrolled and engaged with the Front Project’s suite of programs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to scale delivery of the Upskill program and the Online Community, meeting sector needs
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and prospective clients including government, early education care providers, universities and students
  • Contribute to operations and program planning in collaboration with the Senior Program Manager
  • Develop opportunities to extend the business model in collaboration with the Senior Program Manager, Lead, Workforce Initiatives and CEO.

Skills Required

You are a seasoned client centred business development or fundraising professional, a strategic thinker with an ability to work collaboratively. Your creativity and commercial acumen will support your ability to develop and retain partnerships and your passion for education equity motivates you towards success. You are a team orientated person who can work independently with a focus on quality outcomes and impact.

Your adaptable style will enable you to feel comfortable working in a fast paced, relational, high impact environment.

You can demonstrate an ability to:

  • Develop meaningful continuing relationships with new and prospective clients
  • Work with minimal supervision and be self-motivated within a high touch sales cycle
  • Identify, research and recommend new clients in accordance with strategic plans
  • Work with government at all levels from tender applications to proposals, including writing for different governmental audiences
  • Report on projected growth and planning to leadership and key stakeholders

A foundation knowledge of early childhood education would be advantageous but not essential. You thirst for continued learning will enable you to get up to speed quickly and effectively.
