Mambourin has been supporting people with a disability for almost fifty years with the purpose of connecting people to every opportunity to help them get what they want out of life.
A growing organisation with over 200 staff that work across a range of hubs in Melbourne’s west, Mambourin provides a range of service choices to more than 400 people living with a disability including skills development, social and community participation, employment pathways and general disability support.
Providing strategic advice to the CEO, senior leadership team and the board’s risk and audit subcommittee, you will lead and manage the organisation’s quality and risk framework and registers, responses to recommendations from the Disability Royal Commission, NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission reporting obligations, health and safety indicators, and other regulatory body requirements.
You’ll champion a whole of organisation approach to quality, safeguarding and governance and build capacity within service areas as you work across all hub sites to ensure consistency in monitoring, evaluation and improvement, and inspire staff to embrace best practice through mentoring and training.
Key responsibilities include:
You have senior leadership experience within either aged care, disability, community or health care, together with a track record of achieving team engagement and improvement across organisational quality, risk management and clinical governance.
You are passionate about being a quality advocate and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels and you’re skilled in communicating and adapting according to the needs of the audience.
