The Organisation

Early Childhood Management Services (ECMS) purpose is to “foster lifelong learning” for children, their families, our team, and our partners. We are a not-for-profit operating 61 early years services across 19 municipalities in the greater Melbourne area. Over 6500 children across Victoria attend an ECMS kindergarten or early learning centre each week.

The Role

This role leads the customer engagement activities to ensure ECMS is positioned for optimal utilisation of all its children’s services. The role supports ECMS services with the provision of up-to-date information and analysis on customer metrics and relationship building across the sector.

In collaboration with the Director of Marketing, Communications and Digital and in line with the operational and strategic plans this role will undertake proactive and responsive community activities to promote the awareness of all ECMS services to ensure these services remain sustainable and well utilised into the future.

Playing a leading role in managing the customer’s journey, this diverse role is also responsible for:

  • Managing the customer retention process and promoting the ECMS brand
  • Lead the enrolment process
  • Implementation of a new enrolments CRM system
  • Tracking the performance of marketing campaigns against enrolments data and providing solutions to increase utilisation of services
  • Managing the enrolments coordinator team member.

Skills Required

You currently work in the NFP, education, or corporate sectors in a marketing, account management or sponsorship team and looking for a step into a management role.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A passion to grow the sector, promoting quality, inclusive early childhood services
  • Experience in account management, business development and/or supporting a sales team
  • An ability to identify target audiences to attract, inform and foster relationships
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and marketing automation tools
  • Knowledge and experience in customer data segmentation, analysis, and development of insights to drive increase in sales or customer engagement.
  • A friendly, approachable manner with an aptitude for staff management.
