NAPCAN is seeking a team player who is able to work collaboratively in a geographically diverse team, a self-motivated, fun and respectful individual to be our next Trainer.
This talented person will get to deliver our much sought-after programs; including Protective Behaviours to early childhood educators; Child Safe Organisations and Prevention of Child Abuse to those working with children and young people as well as our Train the Trainer program Love Bites program for those working with High School aged young people. Ideally you will have experience in a range of these programs, and you with onboarding, must be able to deliver the full suite of NAPCAN training programs.
This is a full-time 12-month temporary contract position, with the possibility for extension and will be based in Brisbane. Your work location will be a hybrid of work from home, work from our Wynnum office or across Queensland.
This role will suit someone with a strong background in early and middle childhood education and care and/or schools and/or child protection experience.
The Trainer role is to enhance the individual skills and capabilities of those who work with children and young people. This is achieved through the design and delivery of comprehensive training programs that align with the mission, vision and strategic priorities of NAPCAN.
By providing engaging and effective learning experiences, the Trainer contributes to the professional development and success of external participants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence within the organisation. This contributes to creating a safe and healthy environment for children and young people.
Generous salary packaging options to reduce your taxable income - tax-free amount of up to $15,900 p.a (mortgage, rent, or credit cards) and a further $2,650 p.a (meal, entertainment expenses and holiday accommodation).
Salary packaging reduces your taxable income, meaning you pay less tax. Base Salary $80K - $100K plus Super dependent on skills and experience.
