  • Full time role or flexibility to discuss hours. Full time equivalent $72,960 per annum
  • Option to work in hybrid model in person and from home. Office located in Fitzroy North, VIC

Position Description

We are seeking a full time Digital Marketing Manager to oversee all aspects of Digital Marketing across our various projects.

As a record label and artist services company, we regularly develop and execute Digital Marketing Campaigns for new music releases, music touring and live performances, artist merchandise releases and audience growth campaigns.

As a not-for-profit, we seek to grow our audience, increasing awareness about our mission and charitable purpose and securing customer first-party-data to allow ongoing engagement with audiences. After a period of growing audience reach, MIE will seek to convert audiences into supporters, either by donating/subscribing directly, purchasing merchandise, attending live events, or purchasing music releases.

It is expected that you will work closely with our team to develop and execute marketing campaigns, in some cases managing relationships with third party stakeholders (external publicists, content creators) and reporting on each campaign's impact & results.

Main Duties

  • Closely communicate with artists to ensure all campaigns are artist-led and marketing messages communicated according to their wishes
  • Develop a clear understanding of our organisation, our vision and purpose, and our strategy for growth
  • Develop a clear understanding of our audiences, both current and target
  • Oversee the ideation, development and implementation of digital marketing campaigns across various touch points in the org - music releases, touring, merchandise campaigns, etc.
  • Develop measurable goals for individual campaigns and strategies to achieve these
  • Track results and report on these KPI’s during active campaigns
  • Engage with third parties where necessary (e.g marketing, publicity, content creation, etc) and manage these relationships accordingly
  • Map and report campaign results to team/CEO and assist in building EOY impact report

Skills

  • High level of communication and organisation
  • Understanding of different social media platforms and advertising channels
  • Ability to build and implement social media adverts in collaboration with graphic design and content team members
  • Ability to read and analyse data and report findings
  • Ability to understand broader campaign objectives and build marketing strategy accordingly
