The opportunity:

Join CP-Achieve, a National Health and Medical Research Council funded Centre of Research Excellence, on a mission to empower adolescents and young adults with cerebral palsy to lead full and healthy lives.

CP-Achieve is now seeking an enthusiastic individual for a Knowledge Transfer Fellowship in consumer involvement. This 12-month, 0.6 FTE fellowship aims to advance the application of our consumer involvement expertise into policy and practice across Australia. As a Knowledge Translation Fellow, you will work closely with the CP-Achieve team, receiving guidance, support, and engagement from a dedicated Advisory Group.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Promote and share CP-Achieve consumer involvement expertise, through the knowledge translation of CP-Achieve consumer involvement successes, challenges and innovations
  • Identify and nurture collaborative relationships with stakeholders/knowledge users conducting related work
  • Develop relationships with key contacts, including the Fellowship Advisory Group and CP-Achieve consumer research partners, to collaborate in resource development and knowledge translation approaches and identify potential barriers and enablers to support the knowledge transfer strategy
  • Create a suite of high-quality resources, which are tailored for a range of stakeholders/knowledge users across Australia
