Monash Gender, Peace and Security Centre is seeking to appoint a postdoctoral fellow to contribute to the Centre’s research and post-graduate education program. Monash GPS is a leading international research Centre focused on research project and engagement supporting and associated with the UN Women, Peace and Security agenda. It is within the School of Social Sciences in the Faculty of Arts and constituted by academics and PhD students working in the social sciences whose primary goal is to produce high-quality research that supports and builds knowledge, whilst working with Government and the civil society sector to improve the lives of women and girls in conflict-affected communities. Monash GPS has a growing international profile as a primary source of research and advice in Asia and the Pacific for all matters concerning gender, peace and security.
You will have a reputation for research excellence in a social science or cognate field such as law or international development with either a PhD or a PhD under examination. You will be a collegial member of research teams within the broad field of gender, peace and security and able to contribute to ongoing and new international research projects, including a Monash Warwick Alliance funded project. You may also contribute to GPS postgraduate short course education offerings.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
