Monash Health Volunteer Services is seeking a dynamic, engaging individual with excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in volunteers to join our passionate, dedicated and amazing volunteer services team.

You will thrive on working with a team of volunteer coordinators, operationally responsible for Monash Health Volunteer Services and for ensuring service accountability against relevant policy and procedure, accreditation and quality standards and best practices guidelines.

In this exciting opportunity, you will:

  • recruit and onboard new volunteers on a regular basis
  • coordinate and manage the volunteer roster
  • provide appropriate support, communication and ongoing recognition for our volunteers
  • maintain accurate records in Better Impact Volunteer software
  • Previous volunteer coordinator experience or working with volunteers, highly desirable.

About You:

The successful candidate will exhibit:

  • a high level of professionalism and exceptional interpersonal skills
  • ability to build relationships that value, motivate, support and engage volunteers
  • ability to engage with stakeholders and contribute to a positive workplace culture
  • ability to work independently in accordance with targets and timelines
  • demonstrated skills with MSOffice and Better Impact database software
  • Experience in volunteer management
