ELMHS provides a range of mental health services to pregnant mothers, infants, children and adolescents and their families within the Southern Region.
The Infant Child and Family Health and Wellbeing Hub is a new service that will provide therapy that considers all aspects of an infant's or child’s life. These services will provide wellbeing support, peer support and care coordination to help with different kinds of challenges including developmental, behavioural, and mental health concerns.
This service has funding for community health, mental health, and family support services. The ICFH team will provide mental health consultation, assessment, and treatment to infants, children and families. The service will comprise a multi-disciplinary team. The Infant, Child and Family Health and Wellbeing Hub will sit alongside ELHMS - Monash Childrens and the Child and Family Program - Monash Health Community.
Are you a Speech Pathologist with experience working with parents and infants, children, adolescents and/or young people?
This position will suit an individual who enjoys working collaboratively with families to address their identified areas of concern. This fast-paced team thrives on a multidisciplinary team environment. The role is that of a mental health speech pathologist with qualifications and experience in assessing and treating children 0 - 11 with mental health problems.
The central function of this team is to provide evidence-based mental health consultation, assessment, and treatment to pre- schoolers, children and adolescents (0-11 years of age) and their families with moderate mental health problems. The position is primarily based across multiple sites within the catchment of Monash Health. We are recruiting for a permanent full-time role (76 hours per fortnight), working core business hours of 8.30am-5.00pm. The position is classified as an Allied Health Grade 2, (YB50).
