Our Journey:

Monash Health Neurosciences Physiotherapy stream is a dynamic team of dedicated, highly skilled clinicians providing services across the network. The Monash Health Physiotherapy team includes approximately 330 Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and Allied Health Assistants providing services across five Acute and Sub Acute Hospitals as well as community services. As a valuable member of a wider team, we are committed to working with you to become your professional best. We offer clinical education sessions, training on the job and career progression to enable you to further develop your Clinical and Leadership skills.

About the Role

Monash Health has an exciting opportunity for innovative and dynamic Physiotherapist to become a Grade 4 Physiotherapist in the Neurosciences Stream. The Neurosciences Stream services bed-based acute and sub-acute beds as well as providing expertise to the Community programs. This newly created position will be the second Grade 4 role within the Neurosciences Stream. This role entails clinical consultation, supervision responsibilities and is an integral member of the interdisciplinary team. The successful candidate will share the leadership responsibilities of the Neurosciences stream with the other part time Grade 4 Neurosciences Physiotherapist.

Predominantly based at Monash Medical Centre, Clayton, however you will work at other Monash Health sites as required to deliver the service.

This opportunity is permanent part time, 3 days per week across Monday to Friday.

What You Bring:

  • You will bring proven team leadership skills and expert knowledge in the area of neurological physiotherapy.
  • You are passionate about providing a consistently high level of patient care and have excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong patient-centred focus.

What you need:

  • Undergraduate Physiotherapy degree.
  • Relevant post-graduate qualification - applicants with post graduate qualification and experience in Neurology Outpatient Clinics an advantage.
  • Current unconditional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
