A Day in the Life:

As a grade 1 Occupational Therapist at Monash Children’s you will:

  • Collaborate with colleagues across the service to foster clinical excellence and consistency of practice
  • Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessment and management of infants, children and adolescents attending Monash Children’s Health services across all sectors of the organisation
  • Be well supported by a large, dynamic, team with on-site supervision by a Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist
  • Be provided with training, professional development and the opportunity to cover a range of clinical areas and undertake quality activities and projects

What you Need:

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapist or Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or equivalent
  • Current general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) – Occupational Therapy, with no restrictions.
  • At least 1 year experience as a clinical Occupational Therapist
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong team focus and an innovative approach
  • Demonstrated interest in paediatrics
