About Social Work Services

The Social Work team across Monash Health is responsible for the delivery of a broad range of Social Work services for clients across the lifespan in the inpatient and outpatient setting.

About the Role

Our Social Work Department is looking for an enthusiastic Grade 2 Social Worker to join our team of professionals working at Monash Medical Centre in the Neuroscience stream. This is an interesting and dynamic permanent full time role where you will have the opportunity to work in the Neuroscience department. Previous hospital experience is essential.

About You

This clinical role provides an opportunity to showcase your skills in working with people from a range of diverse backgrounds as well as completing complex psycho-social assessments and development of patient centred care plans. It is a requirement of this role to participate in the Emergency Department and on-call rosters.

What You Need:

  • An Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
  • Accredited Bachelor Degree or entry level Master’s Degree of Social Work that provides eligibility for membership of the AASW.
  • All candidates require Australian working rights.
