Chestnut Gardens, Doveton, is home to 100 high care residents and utilises the latest in care and design philosophies. Chestnut Gardens is built as a series of houses, each with its own decor.
Our residential care team at Chestnut Gardens work either in ‘The Avenue’ or ‘The Boulevard’ with residents with chronic physical and/ or mental health care conditions. To ensure the best care, those that live at Chestnut Gardens work in collaboration with a skilled nursing group in developing person centred care.

No two days will be the same as you work within an established, friendly and supportive team environment, working closely together to care for patients along with providing opportunities for staff development and growth in areas that staff are passionate about. Taking a team focus on delivery of care, our primary focus is on a patient’s safe journey through theatre. We have a strong education focus and encourage staff to further develop their skills, along with being a part of a friendly and social environment to work in.
We are excited to announce that we have several opportunities for Enrolled Nurses to join our caring team in either a Full Time or Part Time capacity with the ability to accrue a day off each five weeks. These are Monday to Sunday roles across a rotating roster.
You are a suitably qualified and experienced Enrolled Nurse with exposure across mental health and/or aged health care. Having a compassionate disposition and passion to making a difference in the quality of our resident's life, is simply just what you do. Being innovative and thinking outside the box is an important part of the role staff play at Allambee to give our care recipients a reason to wake each morning.
