Haematology Research at Monash Health is a large clinical trial unit which utilises the purpose-built Clinical Trial Centre within the Monash Health Translation Precinct to implement new and exciting clinical trial opportunities for our haematology patients.

About the Role

We are a vibrant and fast paced unit, and we are seeking a clinical trial research nurse for several varied haematological clinical trials. We are looking for an enthusiastic Clinical Trial Research Nurse to join the Haematology Research Unit to assist our trial coordinators in conducting clinical trials effectively and efficiently, following Good Clinical Practices as set out by the International Conference on Harmonisation and with approval from a Human Research Ethics Committee.

The Clinical Trials Research Nurse works in conjunction with other members of the Haematology Research Unit. A strong collaboration between the unit, the trial sponsors, and Monash Health is required in planning, coordinating and implementing trials to ensure the best possible care for trial patients..

About You

• You have a high level of attention to detail, multitasking and prioritisation skills, communication skills, and an advanced level of empathy for both fellow colleagues and our patient population. You are motivated with a can-do attitude and strong work ethic. You enjoy working in a busy and fast-paced environment.
• Experience in clinical trials is preferable.
• The Research Nurse position is based at Monash Medical Centre in Clayton, Victoria, and is a 1 year fixed term, part time contract.
