Miwatj Employment and Participation (MEP) is a Community Development Programme Provider (CDP) in North East Arnhem Land. MEP and has an exciting opportunity for a senior position of Regional Manager to join our dynamic and progressive team. The work is based in the community of Nhulubuy and Gunyangara and has a team to assist with informing, engaging and building the capacity of our clients.

If you have the following skills or knowledge, we'll be keen to hear from you:

• Proven ability to manage, lead, develop and mentor a team to deliver effective programs
• Current working experience and knowledge of the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet funding contract for the Community Development Program, or proven ability to interpret contracts in a similar program
• Demonstrated cultural competency in a remote Aboriginal context, knowledge and understanding of barriers to participation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and positive relationships with key stakeholders including land owners, internal and external business partners, government agencies, local councils, major employers and community.
• Drive and initiate improvements in key gap areas to improve engagement of clients into meaningful activities and economic development.
• High level analytic and administrative skills including word processing, database management, financial management processes and advanced IT.

The commencing salary is $93,000, plus super, salary sacrifice, six weeks annual leave, subsidised housing, relocation assistance, annual flight allowance and other allowances.
