Mac River Rehab Centre is a residential rehabilitation program for 13 to 18-year-old adolescents with alcohol and other drug problems. The aim of the program is to provide a 3-month residential drug and alcohol treatment program to young people, whose use of alcohol and other drugs places them at risk of significant harm and offending.
The support worker roles will be vital in supporting our clients with their daily living skills, delivering programs, supervising clients undertaking schooling, working in the garden, exercise and life-skill programs that assist young people when they re-enter the community. We need our support workers to be available for a 24 x 7 rotating roster.
As part of our Employment screening process you will be required to undertake a National Criminal History Check if you haven’t completed one in the last 12 months.
In addition there is a requirement to possess a current Working with Children check or apply if you do not already hold one. It is unlawful for prohibited persons to apply for work with children, and, as such, prohibited persons cannot apply for this role.
