Your Opportunity

The KBIMX program intends to support those participants who have successfully completed the 12 week KBIM program and provide supportive post program health coaching sessions in the community with the aim being; improving overall physical health and wellbeing.

You play a crucial role as a health coach by supporting clients to identify and sustain their health goals.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Present as a positive role model for clients
  • Co-create and support the clients identified health goals
  • Provide weekly individual health coaching sessions
  • Engage clients and develop trusting professional relationships
  • Share your lived experience of mental health in a purposeful and meaningful way
  • Establish professional boundaries with the clients
  • Maintain updated and required case notes

Requirements for Success

  • Sound understanding of peer support work
  • You have had personally accessed mental health services and gained skills to share
  • Passionate about exercise and mental health
  • Experience preferred but not essential
  • Valid NSW driver’s license
  • Valid NSW driver’s license

Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
