Roma House is a non-exclusion temporary supported accommodation service which services 31 residents. Roma House promotes a therapeutic, trauma informed program that emphasizes physical and emotional safety for residents. Resident inclusion is an integral aspect of service delivery, and there is a strong emphasis on empowerment and opportunity for residents to participate. Roma House has a Lifestyle Program, Group work, Adventure Based Learning and an Outreach Program. Roma House accepts people with complex issues, and we look at mental health, Drug and Alcohol and past trauma to best assist our clients with a holistic plan which shows personal strengths.
The purpose of this role is to support clients in the provision of welfare support, in particular the provision of services to face homelessness and other related issues. This is an awake night shift position, and there are casual roles available also.
As part of our Employment screening process you will be required to undertake a National criminal history check. In addition there is a requirement to possess a current Working with Children check or apply if you do not already hold one. It is unlawful for prohibited persons to apply for work with children, and, as such, prohibited persons cannot apply for this role.
