Your Opportunity

Flexible Learning Options (FLO) Case Management and Alternative Learning Programs assist young people with individualised pathways to SACE, TAFE, employment, apprenticeships/traineeships and personal development opportunities which is identified in their plan.

This role is based in Riverlands, SA.

Your key responsibilities will to:

• Build strong relationships and internal connections with young people and their families/guardians to motivate and grow awareness of supports.
• Completing thorough assessments and registrations according to process
• Create case management files compliant with standards and on time.
• Linking clients facing barriers to learning to referral supports in the community.
• Adhering to Child Safety framework; and timely, accurate and factual reporting of child safety concerns.

Requirements for Success

• Minimum Certificate IV in Youth Work or Youth Justice or Bachelor of Social Work
• Previous experience working in a case management approach within an education or employment focused environment
• Sound understanding and training in Child Safe Environment Reporting Abuse, Neglect and Education in Care
• Experience in working with young people with high and complex needs, and communicating and building valuable rapport with those who are at risk
• Senior First Aid Certificate
• Current driver’s license
• Current and valid DCSI Working with Children clearance

As part of our Employment screening process you will be required to undertake a National Criminal History Check if you haven’t completed one in the last 12 months.

In addition, there is a requirement to possess a current Working with Children DCSI check or apply if you do not already hold one. It is unlawful for prohibited persons to apply for work with children, and, as such, prohibited persons cannot apply for this role.
