About the role
The Team Leader role manages the day to day operations, leads the team, and ensures the provision of high quality, recovery oriented care services to clients, families and carers within our SIL (Supported Independent Living) service. SIL provides options for adults who experience psychosocial disability, those with more complex needs, people with dual disability and those who may have family support but who live independently of the family home.
This is a Permanent Part-Time role working 19 hours per week, including every Monday.
Duties
- Lead, coach and develop a team to achieve best quality service outcomes
- Undertake a range of administrative tasks including rostering, ensuring accuracy of client file data and audit compliance
- Coordinate aspects of the operation of the team on a day to day basis
- Provide efficient allocation of tasks and resources
- Proactively support Mind’s vision of supporting people facing mental health challenges
- Positively influence and contribute to a service and team culture that focusses on meeting the customer’s goals
What you’ll bring
- Skills in leading, coaching and developing a team to achieve best quality service outcomes
- Experience in advocacy, collaboration, facilitation, evaluation and problem solving
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including the use of Microsoft/other software
- Understanding of available community services, networks and supports
- Tertiary qualifications (minimum certificate IV) in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or other health related field as designated by Mind
- NDIS Code of Conduct Training Certificate (desirable)
