Your new role

As an advocate for older adults seeking to drive a unique opportunity in mental health and wellness to collaboratively develop and coordinate our new stepped care, evidence based approach to improve mental health and wellbeing of older adults experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues.

You will:

  • Be an specialist in mental health and wellbeing in older adults
  • Collaboratively establish a new service model that engages older adults in healthy mind and positive ageing services
  • Provide operational leadership to multidisciplinary team
  • Provide expert opinion regarding clinical decision making and clinical triage
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the cities of Moreland, Brimbank, Darebin, and Melton
  • Establish and demonstrate the efficacy of stepped care for older people

What you’ll need to succeed

You will be an experienced Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Psychologist who thrives working in a fast pace environment, driving innovative and new models of care you would naturally go above and beyond to achieve great results for our clients, the organisation and yourself. If you are:

  • A credentialed health professional with high level specialist knowledge and experience in the assessment and treatment of mental illness for older people
  • A leader of multidisciplinary team or advanced practice
  • An individual with High level interpersonal skills
  • Experienced in project management with a history of delivery on time, within budget and at high quality
