Your new role

As a Mental Health Support Coordinator you will be responsible for:

  • Assist participants to identify, implement and coordinate appropriate NDIS supports and services
  • Establish and maintain positive rapport with participants, focused on understanding their individual needs and goals
  • Develop effective relationships with internal and external service providers
  • Demonstrate an ability effectively work in a dynamic and evolving environment

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful with Merri you will go above and beyond to achieve great results for our clients, the organisation and yourself. We’re looking for individuals with:

  • Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Community Development, Welfare or related fields
  • Understanding or lived experience of mental health issues and their impact on individuals, families and communities
  • Experience in effectively engaging and working with people experiencing mental health issues
  • Experience in care planning, case management, coordination and review for people with complex needs
