We currently have senior child protection opportunities across both metro and rural locations in Victoria.

As a senior child protection worker you will be responsible for investigating, assessing and managing the most complex cases of children at risk from abuse and/or neglect. You will be expected mentor and support less experienced case workers.

You must have the following:

• A recognised Social Work degree or a similar welfare or behavioural related degree or recognised Diploma of Community Services work which is studied over a minimum of two academic years of full-time study (or part time equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience working in and knowledge of statutory child protection services
• Proven knowledge of child protection issues, program goals, values and principles.
• Advanced demonstrated understanding and experience in understating assessments, planning and interventions to respond to child protection risks.
• A current full driver's licence
• A current police check
