Margaret Tucker Hostel is an Aboriginal community organisation providing supported crisis accommodation to young Aboriginal women who are aged 15-18 years of age who are experiencing homeless or at risk of being homeless.
The hostel provides a culturally supportive and safe environment to young Aboriginal women and their children at a time when they are very vulnerable and in need of a safe place to stay.
We are looking for someone to work in the Support Worker role within our organisation.
The Support Worker role works a rotating roster that includes sleepover shifts in the evening on weekdays, weekends and public holidays. The role also includes some administrative work including recording shifts in a communications book and maintaining file notes.
